HTL-STREFA’s products comply with (i) if classified as Medical Devices, only with the provisions laid down in the Council Directive 93/42/EEC of 14 June 1993 and Medical Device Regulation (EU) 2017/745 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 5 April 2017 on medical devices, amending Directive 2001/83/EC, Regulation (EC) No 178/2002 and Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 and repealing Council Directives 90/385/EEC and 93/42/EEC, as amended from time to time; (ii) if classified as Cosmetic Products, only with Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 of 30 November 2009 and (iii) if classified as Low Voltage Devices, only with European Directive 2014/35/EU and/or Directive 2014/30/EU, however, the availability, classification, and approval of medical devices may vary by country.
